Award program "Castles of Germany"The award program "Castles of Germany" is founded under aegis "COTA-Team-Germany" and includes awards of each federal Land of Germany. At present 6 awards has been instituted. All awards are issued for QSO/SWL with the radiostations working no more than in 500 metres from castles or fortresses (/p). Each castle has the number including location of radiostation (the federal Land of Germany) and castle number. For example BBN-004. Each castle is valid only once regardless of band or mode. Awards can issued for separate band or mode. All awards are issued on the basis of recieved QSL-cards. Lists of castles of each diploma can be received at award managers by e-mail or by postmail (need SASE), or download from sites. Sachesen-Anhalt Sachesen-Anhalt Burgendiplom The German Amateur Radio Club e.V., OV Ballenstedt (DOK W33) is issuing the Castle-Award in Saxony-Anhalt, which can be applied according to Radioamateurs and SWL's also. It includes all compounds after 1. January 2010 with Stations that portable (/ p-stations) and within a Radius of The Castles have a unique Number and should be clearly marked on the QSL-Card of the activating Station. The List of valid Castles are available by the Manager for the Award with SASE and on the Websites http://amateurfunk-ballenstedt.de and http://www.cota-team-germany.com/sab.html can the Lists download. Each Number counts once regardless of the Band and the Modulation. Connections through Echolink and Packet
The Award-Application is sent to a confirmed List of QSL-Cards (GCR-List) and 5 € (DL-Stations) or 10 € (EU- Stations) or 13 $ (DX-Stations) to: Detlef Karau, DL4NTC E-mail: dl4ntc@web-logbuch.de When sending the Award as a PDF-File via E-Mail the costs are 3 €. Transfer fees for the Award may also account details of the OV Ballenstedt be used.
