"Kuznetsk Fortress" Award has been instituted by Novokuznetsk Radioclub (R9U) in honor of founded in 1618 Kuznetsk Fortress – the oldest settlement in territory of Novokuznetsk.

The Award is given for not less than 10 QSOs (SWLs) on HF-bands or with not less than 5 QSOs (SWLs) on VHF-bands with radiostations from Novokuznetsk during a year (from January, 01st till December, 31st) after 1st January 2007.

Repeated OSOs (SWLs) on different bands and by different modes are valid excepting contacts via repeaters.

The application for diploma is based on the extract from log and certified by signatures of two licensed radiohams. Award fee is 150 RUR by postal order or 5 IRC.
