"Forts and castles of France" Award (DFCF)


"Forts and castles of France" Award (DFCF) is created to popularize historical monuments located in France among radiohams all over the world.

The awards are issued for QSO/SWL with radiostations working no more than in 500 metres from forts or castles.

QSOs/SWLs since 01.01.1997 are valid.

Each object has number according to DFCF list. First two digits are department number and last three digits are object number 001,002 etc. For example: DFCF-01001.

It is allowed to work simultaneously from different forts and castles if they are located not more 500 m from each other.

QSL-card must have DFCF-number and fort or castle name. Award is issued on the basis of recieved QSL-cards.

Basic DFCF:

HF UHF (30÷300 MHz) VHF (300÷3000 MHz)
30 objects 10 objects 5 objects

Stickers are avialable for additional 100/10/5 objects. Stickers are free but need SASE or payment for postage.

DFCF EXCELLENCE:

For at least one object (fort, castle) located in each of 95 departaments. Joker (object outside France - FY) replaces any missing department.

DFCF HONNEUR:

For 1500/150/75 objects located in 90/45/20 departaments.

TROPHEE DFCF:

For 3000 objects (log extract is enough for DFCF HONNEUR owners).
